Lina Azalea Dahbour is a Lebanese-American interdisciplinary artist from New York City who is based in the Hudson Valley. She channels visions into site-specific performances, multi-media movement pieces, visual art, video, and music. Her work explores themes of invisibility, novelty, the subconscious, and locational essences. She has presented work at New York Live Arts, Grace Exhibition Space, The Locker Room, Glasshouse Project, and many DIY venues across the Northeast. She received a Franklin Furnace FUND Award for her evening length multi-media dance work Light Meditations. She was the Curatorial Fellow at ISSUE Project Room in 2024. She co-produces a dance and performance art event series based in New York City named Momenta that has produced the work of more than 65 movement-based performance artists. She produced a dance event series dedicated to nontraditional dance work named BADDANCE from 2017-2023. She graduated from SUNY Purchase with a degree in Dance and Media Studies. She has held residencies at Groundworks and ROSEKILL in upstate New York.
